Dr. Yarlagadda decided to become a dentist after high school when she visited her cousin who is a dentist. She immediately liked the work-life balance, and then she saw firsthand how dentists can help others in so many meaningful ways. She realized this was a profession where she could enjoy work that perfectly suits her personality.
